We will be hosting a Funeral Planning Seminar for those who wish to prepare in advance for their own funeral as a faithful and loving gift to those they will one day leave behind. Memento mori, but we do not know the day or the hour. This seminar will guide participants through the many aspects of Christian burial that can be thoughtfully planned ahead, including liturgical preferences, Scripture readings, hymns, and practical details, so that one’s final service reflects both personal faith and the hope of the resurrection. By facing our mortality with honesty and hope, we not only bear witness to the Gospel, but also spare our loved ones unnecessary stress and uncertainty, allowing them to grieve with greater peace and clarity when the time comes.
